Study: Czechs investing more in commercial property elsewhere in region

Czech investors are buying more and more commercial property in other countries in Central and Eastern Europe, the Czech News Agency reported, citing a study by the property consultancy Knight Frank.

Czechs invested EUR 1 billion (roughly CZK 24 billion) in such property in the first half of this year, compared to EUR 1.6 billion (approximately CZK 39 billion) in the whole of 2025.

The limited size of the domestic market is leading Czech investors to increasingly seek opportunities abroad, both in other countries in Central and Eastern Europe and in Western Europe, a representative of Knight Frank said.
