Students in Prague remember Ukrainian peers killed by Russians

On Monday evening secondary school and university students from Ukraine who have died as a result of Russian aggression were remembered in Prague by their peers: Czech students and young Ukrainians who have come to Czechia because of the Russian war on their country.

The commemorative event, which saw floating lanterns with candles inside them placed on the Vltava, was organised by People in Need as part of the One World in Schools educational programme. It took place on the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Communist Regime.
