STEM poll: support for ANO grows, Together weakens

Support for ANO has risen to 31.2%, up about a point since last week, according to a STEM poll for CNN Prima News published on Sunday. The Together coalition slipped slightly to 21.6%.

The early June survey may already reflect the bitcoin donation scandal linked to Justice Minister Pavel Blažek of the Civic Democrats, who has since resigned. However, researchers note that major scandals often take time to affect voter sentiment. A no-confidence vote in the government is expected next week.

Six parties would currently make it into Parliament. Freedom and Direct Democracy remains in third place with 13.1%. The Mayors and Independents are fourth, down slightly to 10.6%. The Pirates have edged up to 6.7%, while Enough! has fallen to the 5% threshold needed to enter the lower house.
