STAN wants clarification on Bitcoin case; otherwise, leaving government is an option

The Mayors and Independents (STAN) party is calling for a thorough explanation of the Bitcoin case; otherwise, according to MEP Jan Farský (STAN), possible outcomes include the resignation of Deputy Minister Karel Dvořák (STAN) from the Ministry of Justice or STAN’s withdrawal from the government. Farský stated this on Wednesday in response to a question from ČTK. Due to the Bitcoin case, STAN’s leadership is holding an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday. On Tuesday evening, the party leadership said that Justice Minister Eva Decroix (Spolu) has failed to adequately explain why a report by the coordinator for clarifying the case, David Uhlíř, will not be created or published. According to STAN, Decroix is expected to attend today’s meeting.
