Sporty start to New Year at pilgrimage spot

Around 300 sports enthusiasts from the Czech Republic, as well as from Germany, Slovakia, Austria and the US, celebrated the New Year in Cheb, West Bohemia. Making use of the spring-like fine weather, they headed for the well-known Maria Loreto pilgrimage spot, in the city’s Hrozňatov district, on foot, by bike and by scooter.
