Souček sacked as director general of Czech Television

Jan Souček must leave his post as director general of Czech Television. The institution's councillors found enough votes in a secret ballot on Tuesday to remove him from his post. Fifteen councillors voted in favour, two voted against. They were particularly critical of Souček's managerial misconduct. They disliked the staffing decisions, the communication towards the council and the public and the interference in the program.
