Some children under 12 already getting Covid vaccine
About 150 children under the age of 12 have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine in the Czech Republic, Czech Radio reported citing Health Ministry data.
Hundreds of other parents have already registered their young children for vaccination, although the PfizerBioNTech vaccine has not yet received approval from the European Medicines Agency for children under 12.
The vaccine is most often administered to children under 12 on doctors’ orders for health reasons, for instance post-surgery or because of chronic illnesses.
