Some 200 people in Prague protest in support of Alexei Navalny
Some 200 people gathered outside the Russian Embassy in Prague on Saturday to protest against the detention of the opposition leader Alexei Navalny in Moscow, adding their voice to protesters in Russia.
Mr Navalny was arrested at passport control last Sunday upon his return to Moscow from Berlin, where he recovered from an assassination attempt with a deadly nerve agent.
Russian authorities claim his absence constitutes a violation of the parole terms specified in a felony conviction in 2014 for embezzlement and money laundering.
Dozens of people have already been detained in Russia as police try to stop nationwide protests in support of the jailed opposition leader.
