Snow warning for many parts of country until Thursday morning

The Czech Hydro-Meteorological Institute has issued a warning that up to 10 centimetres of wet snow may fall in some parts of the country in a period of 12 hours. The warning is in force until Thursday morning for the South Bohemia and Vysočina regions, as well as for parts of six other regions.

Snow has caused traffic complications in some areas from Wednesday morning. The forecasters say that it will continue to fall on Wednesday night, though it will gradually ease off from the southwest.
