Smutná places third in Jizera Fifty

Czech cross-country skier Kateřina Smutná finished third in the Jizera Fifty this year reaching the finish line with a loss of more than three minutes behind the Swedish duo Lina Korsgren who finished first and Ida Dahl who placed  a close

second. Sweden’s Emil Persson won in the men’ race ending Norway’s seven-year domination. Norway’s Tord Asle Gjerdalen won second place, Jermil Vokujev from Russia finished third. The best home runner was Jiří Pliska in 19th place.
