Slovak film ‘Servants’ wins Febiofest main competition

Slovak director Ivan Ostrochovský’s noir film ‘Servants’, about two young seminarians who face pressure from the Czechoslovak secret police under communism, has won the main competition at Febiofest – the Prague International Film Festival.

The Swedish crazy comedy ‘Call Mom!’ won the new comedy competition while the Amnesty International Award went to the creators of the Iranian-Czech drama 'Son-Mother', which Iranian cinemas are not yet allowed to screen.
