The Czech car maker Skoda Auto sold more than 20,000 cars in Britain in the first half of this year, 14 percent more than in the same period of last year while the British car market grew by just 6 percent overall. Skoda Auto has a 1.5-percent market share and is an established brand in Britain. Sales are led by the small Fabia model, followed by the Octavia family car and the executive-class Superb.
