Shops and services reopen around the country

Shops around the country reopened on Monday after a five month break. Czechs will also be able to avail themselves of services which have been waiting for the green light, such as shoe repair shops, car bazaars, car showrooms, cable cars, solariums, watchmakers, goldsmiths, carpenters or travel agencies.

The easing of measures is based on the number of newly infected in the course of a week staying below 100 per 100,000 inhabitants.

As of Monday people will no longer have to wear respirators out in the open, unless they are in crowded places, although they remain compulsory indoors. Social distancing rules also remain in place.
