Severe thunderstorms to hit

Severe thunderstorms are likely to hit most of Bohemia on Saturday. On Sunday and Monday, heavy rainfall is expected in Moravia and Silesia, which could cause river levels to rise to the first (lowest) flood warning level. This is according to a warning issued by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ). In the Beskydy Mountains, up to 110 millimetres of rain may fall, which is 110 litres per square metre.
