Senate approves two new Constitutional Court judges
The Senate has approved Michal Bartoň and Martin Smolek as judges of the Constitutional Court.
Bartoň leads the Department of Constitutional Law at Palacký University in Olomouc, while Smolek previously represented the Czech government at the EU Court of Justice. Both had been endorsed by the Senate’s Human Rights and Constitutional Committees.
