School-goers to undergo another round of testing
School-goers in eight regions hardest hit by the Covid epidemic will have to undergo another round of Covid testing on November 1 and November 8, Education Minister Robert Plaga announced after Mondays government session. This should affect some 165,000 school-goers. Those who refuse to get tested will have to wear respirators throughout the school day. Teachers who have not been vaccinated will also have to wear a respirator in the classroom. Children who have been vaccinated or have had Covid in the past six months will not need to undergo testing.
