Saturday recorded Covid cases up on previous week but hospitalisations fall
Some 301 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the Czech Republic on Saturday, 50 more than the same day a week earlier. The reproduction number fell slightly to 1.11.
The number in Czech hospitals with the virus fell to 146. Of that number 29 patients are in a critical condition.
Opava, Karlovy Vary, Prague and Vsetín are the parts of the country with the highest incidence of the coronavirus at present.
