Royal Opera House to stage Janáček’s The Makropulos Case

The Royal Opera House in London will present Leoš Janáček’s The Makropulos Case for the first time on Tuesday evening, conducted by the company’s new Music Director Jakub Hrůša. The production — sung in Czech with English surtitles — will be directed by acclaimed British theatre artist Katie Mitchell.
