Robin Wright latest star name for Karlovy Vary festival

Hollywood star Robin Wright will attend the closing ceremony of this year’s Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the organisers said on Tuesday. The US actress, known for such works as Forrest Gump, The Princess Bride and House of Cards, will receive the festival’s President’s Award.

Karlovy Vary will also honour top US independent producer Christine Vachon.

It was previously announced that stars Russell Crowe, Alicia Vikander and Ewan McGregor would be attending the region’s biggest cinema showcase, which begins on Friday next week.
