Rise in Covid cases continues
Some 732 new cases of Covid 19 were registered in the Czech Republic on Wednesday, which is 211 more than on the same day last week and the highest number since May 19, according to data released by the Health Ministry. The reproduction number has slightly increased to 1.15.
The average seven-day incidence rate is 33 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants, but the number differs significantly from one region to the next. Prague currently has the highest number of infected with 53 new cases per 100,000 people.
