Riot police break up Greenpeace anti-Temelin demo
The Temelin nuclear plant in South Bohemia is just weeks away from being launched, but opponents of nuclear power are not giving up their campaign against nuclear power. On Thursday a group of 30 Greenpeace activists held a demonstration outside the National Office for Nuclear Safety in Prague. The demonstration, however, was unauthorised, and was broken up by riot police after several hours.
