Respirators no longer required at Czech hospitals from Thursday

The Chamber of Deputies has voted unanimously to end what is called a state of pandemic emergency, which allowed for the issuing of measures against Covid-19 without the need for a state of emergency. The move means that respirators will no longer be compulsory at all health and social care facilities from Thursday. All 159 MPs present in the lower house backed the move.

Hospitals and similar facilities were the last places where respirators were still obligatory.
