Report: Test reservation system sharing data with online firms

Some hospitals are using a reservation system for free antigen Covid-19 tests that then sends some data on users to internet companies so that they can use it for targeted advertising, the news site iRozhlas.cz reported. The state uses the system, known as Reservatic, as part of its central reservation system for the coronavirus tests.

A representative of the team overseeing the reservations says the supplier of the system will have to look into the registration methods.

The minister of health, Jan Blatný, said Reservatic was observing all regulations regarding data protection.
