Registered Covid cases fall for fourth day in row

Some 6,325 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the Czech Republic on Sunday, around 3,000 fewer than on the same day a week earlier. Infections have now fallen week-on-week for four days in succession.

The seven-day coronavirus case incidence rate has fallen to 1,068 per 100,000 of the population.

There are 6,338 people in Czech hospitals with Covid, of whom 1,014 are in a critical condition.
