Record temperatures for March 6 recorded in Czechia

Despite a frosty morning, temperature records for March 6 were broken in several places in Czechia on Friday. New highs were seen in six of the country’s 170 weather stations keeping records for at least 30 years, meteorologists said.

The warmest temperature, 17.5 C, was registered at Strážnice in the Hodonín region, though this value was not counted among Friday’s records.
