Putin recalls Russian ambassador to Czechia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has recalled Alexander Zmejevsky from his post as ambassador to Czechia, a position he has held since 2016, according to presidential decrees published by the Kremlin today. Anna Ponomaryova has been appointed as his successor. She has worked at the Russian embassy in Prague for several years.
