Prskavec takes gold at Canoe World Cup event in Prague

The Czech Republic’s Jiří Prskavec has won the opening race of the Canoe-Kayak Slalom World Cup being held in Prague’s Troja.. The 28-year-old Czech finished 0.45 seconds ahead of Italy’s Giovanni de Gennaro in the K1 men’s category.

The other two Czechs in the race, Vít Přindiš and Vavřinec Hradilek, finished seventh and tenth, respectively. The World Cup event in Prague continues on Sunday.
