Prices of electricity for households to fall by 5 % in 2003

The power utility CEZ expects that next year the price of electric energy for households will be at least 5 percent lower. This year, CEZ cut the price of electricity for distributors but that did not affect end-user prices. Company representatives say power distributors have room for price reduction but instead, they increased profits by 40 percent or more this year.
