President Petr Pavel on working visit to Brno, focus on innovation and research

President Petr Pavel is on a working visit to Brno on Tuesday, with his program focused primarily on science, research and innovation. The head of state visited the Czech Emergency Response Team (CZERT), which provides medical assistance in crisis situations at home and abroad and attended the launch of the JIC Ventures fund, aimed at supporting technology start-ups and strengthening the Czech innovation ecosystem.

Mr. Pavel will conclude his visit at Mendel University in Brno, where he is scheduled to meet university leadership and students.
