Territorial concessions in Ukraine should be only a temporary solution, President Petr Pavel said during his visit to the Hradec Králové Region today. If Russia emerges from the war strengthened and convinced of the righteousness of its actions, he warned, similar problems will persist. His remarks indicated that any negotiated peace should be as fair as possible for Ukraine.

Pavel will attend the Trident Initiative summit in Warsaw at the end of April, where he is also scheduled to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky.
