President Pavel opens Future Forces Forum 2024 in Prague

President Pavel attended the opening of the Future Forces Forum 2024 international exhibition and conference in Prague on Wednesday, stressing the need to use new technologies for the good of Mankind. “There is no doubt that new technologies will have a great impact on security and defence, they can be used to improve people's lives and create a safer world for us all“ the president said. The Chief of General Staff Karel Řehka said the rapid technological development brings new challenges for the military and the key to success is cooperation at the national and international level, including the involvement of academia in the defence industry. The event is focused on the presentation of current and future needs of the armed and security forces, and state-of-the-art technologies including the most modern military vehicles and electronic systems.
