President Pavel discharged from hospital following motorbike accident

President Petr Pavel has been discharged from hospital following a minor motorcycle accident on Thursday, the president's office announced on social media site X. He was admitted to the Central Military Hospital in Prague for examination on Thursday evening and remained overnight for monitoring. He was discharged on Friday morning. The president's team has said that his schedule for next week will remain unchanged, including his planned trips abroad.

Mr. Pavel sustained his injuries when he fell off his motorbike while riding off-road on a closed-circuit track. Since he was riding at a low speed, his injuries weren't said to be serious, according to both his office and the hospital.
