President hosting environmental meeting at Lány

Scientists, farmers, business and non-profit representatives, environmental education experts, other specialists and influencers will meet at Lány Chateau on Tuesday at the invitation of President Petr Pavel and his wife Eva. The meeting aims to provide a platform for an open discussion on current environmental challenges, different approaches to addressing them and how to conduct a factual and broad public debate on these issues.

Participants will also discuss the importance of scientific knowledge, public trust in science and ways of making scientific findings easier for the public to understand.
