Prague Sounds festival kicks off with Snarky Puppy at Lucerna
The Prague Sounds music festival begins in the Czech capital on Sunday with a concert by US group Snarky Puppy at the Lucerna Grand Hall.
Eight other events are taking place in the festival previously known as Strings of Autumn. These include shows by mandolin great Chris Thile, singer Laura Mvula, jazz percussionist Makaya McCraven and neo-classical composer Nils Frahm.
Czech artists will gather at the Rudolfinum to pay tribute to flautist Jiří Stivín, who is turning 80.
