Prague march honours children killed in Israel and Palestine conflict

Hundreds of people gathered in the centre of Prague on Thursday evening to honour children killed in the conflict in Israel and Palestine. Around 700 participants, many dressed in white as a symbol of peace, began with prayers and readings from the Bible and the Qur’an at the Church of St. Salvator before walking silently through the Old Town.

The procession continued across Old Town Square and ended at another church near Charles Bridge. Some participants carried photos of young victims, while a few at the back of the march held Palestinian flags. Organizers described the gathering as a solemn, non-political commemoration.
