Prague hosts world skeptics

Do you get ripped off? Believe everything you hear? And are generally very gullible? What you need is a good doze of skepticism. The one hundred or so people who met at the Czech Academy of Sciences here in Prague last week are born skeptics. They are members of various European skeptics' associations and they feel the need for scientists to become more vocal in blasting claims of the paranormal. Moreover, they have a bone to pick with the media because they feel that journalists do a lot of harm by promoting what skeptics see as complete nonsense, simply because it gives them a bigger audience.
