Prague experiencing fourth warmest winter since 1775
Measurements in Prague’s Klementinum meteorological station show that the average temperature in the Czech capital from December to February of this year lay at 4.6 degrees Celsius. This makes it the fourth warmest winter yet registered since measuring began at the station in 1775. February was a particularly warm month, according to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
The warmest Prague winter was registered during 2006-2007, when temperatures averaged 5.8 degrees.
