Prague experiences brief power outage, electricity now restored
Parts of Prague were hit by a power outage lasting about 15 minutes at around noon on Friday, affecting areas including New Town, Vinohrady, and Nusle. The fault occurred at one of the city’s substations and was fixed by rerouting the power supply.
Electricity has since been fully restored across the capital. According to PRE, the outage was confined to several districts and was far less serious than the widespread blackout that struck parts of Czechia in July.
