Prague councillors agree to increase capacity at secondary schools

Prague city councilors have approved the morning decision by the city board, which allows secondary school principals to increase class sizes to up to 34 students. They also agreed that it is necessary to immediately increase the number of spots at general secondary schools offering the school-leaving exam (maturita). However, the principals contacted by Czech News stated that they do not currently plan to increase class capacities for this year’s third round of entrance exams.
