Prague Castle Administration unhappy with security checks

The President's Office has criticized the Police Presidium for wanting to maintain strict security checks at Prague Castle. In a statement published on its website, the Office of the President  announced it was unhappy with the present situation and would continue in its effort to have the controls eased. In the past, the Prague Castle Administration defended the checks as inevitable given the global security situation. The police previously announced they were considering easing checks on people entering the Prague Castle grounds, but this changed with the Russian war in Ukraine. Police have recommended maintaining the checks for the time being.
