Prague calls on Moscow to stop escalating situation in Donbas

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned provocations by Russia on the territory of Ukraine. In a statement issued on Twitter on Friday evening, it called on Moscow to stop escalating the situation and spreading disinformation about developments in Donbas.

The Foreign Ministry’s tweet – which featured the phrases #StandWithUkraine and #StopRussianAggression – linked to a statement on the situation by Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry's Central Crisis Staff is due to discuss the Russia-Ukraine situation on Sunday.
