Poll: Less than third of Czechs happy with state of democracy
Less than a third of the population is satisfied with the way democracy is working in Czechia and only 18 percent of Czechs believe that politicians listen to the opinions of ordinary people, suggests a survey carried out by Ipsos agency in cooperation with the Central European Digital Media Observatory.
According to the survey, some 31 percent of Czechs are satisfied with the functioning of democracy in the country, while 42 percent thought democracy wasn’t functioning well. The remaining 27 percent of respondents said they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied.
