Police seek to indict 10 people and 16 companies in case of Liberec transport company

The police have proposed indicting ten people and sixteen companies for the corruption and manipulation of public contracts of the Transport Company of the cities of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. This was announced to ČTK on Thursday by the spokesman for the National Center against Organised Crime, Jaroslav Ibehej.

Criminal investigators are investigating, among other things, the crimes of obtaining an advantage in the award of a public contract, damaging the financial interests of the European Union, accepting a bribe, and paying bribes. The police first intervened in the Transport Company of the cities of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou in April 2018. At that time, they arrested and charged nine people with six crimes.
