Police evacuate Seznam.cz buildings due to bomb threat

Due to an anonymous bomb threat, police on Wednesday evacuated 10 buildings housing operations of the search engine and media company Seznam.cz.

Employees have already returned to Seznam.cz headquarters in Smíchov, Prague, as well as at the company’s branches in Brno and Ostrava, company spokeswoman Aneta Kapuciánová said.

Seznam.cz is the leading Czech internet company in terms of general search services and online advertising. Its media outlets include a news portal and television channel.
