Police criminally prosecuting former MP for child rape
Former TOP 09 MP Dominik Feri, who resigned from his position as member of the Chamber of Deputies last year after sexual assault and harassment allegations, is now facing criminal prosecution for having committed rape, daily Deník N and Czech Television reported on Tuesday citing the Prague Public Prosecutors Office.
Prosecutors will now decide whether the case should be brought to court. One of the possible charges includes raping a minor (under the age of 15), which could result in a jail sentence of up to 10 years. Mr Feri has denied allegations of sexual assault in the past and apologised for “unsuitable” behaviour in past situations.
