Police catch two men accused of blackmailing businessman

Police in the Vysočina Region have arrested two men accused of planning to abduct the daughter of a South Moravian businessmen with the intent to blackmail him, news site DeníkN.cz reported on Friday. The woman was in the abductors’ car when she managed to escape from the vehicle as the two men were closing the doors. She was then able to contact the police.

According to Police spokesman Pavel Šváb, the two men could face between 5 to 12 years in prison if found guilty.
