PM: We need to speed up the inoculation process

The government’s top priority now is to speed up the inoculation of the population, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš wrote on Twitter.

He said it was important to secure a steady inflow of vaccines which would allow health workers to gradually increase the number of vaccines administered to 100,000 a day by the beginning of April.

Over one million people have received at least one dose to date, and close to 300,000 have received both doses. The government is now launching a campaign in support of vaccinations. The aim is to inoculate at least 70 percent of the country’s inhabitants.
