It is the duty of today's generation to compare Nazi lies and euphemisms with those of the present, Prime Minister Petr Fiala warned against propaganda during the memorial ceremony in Terezín. Speaking at the traditional remembrance event organized by the Terezín Memorial to honor the victims of Nazi persecution, he pointed to Kremlin rhetoric related to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine as an example.

The ceremony was also attended by President Petr Pavel, representatives of both chambers of Parliament, the Constitutional Court, and the ministries of culture and defense.
