Pirate Party ministers to submit their resignation on Tuesday

President Petr Pavel has said he will comply with the prime minister’s request and dismiss outgoing Pirate Party leader Ivan Bartoš from his government posts. At the same time, he has agreed to entrust Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Marian Jurečka with the outgoing minister’s portfolio on a temporary basis, Prime Minister Fiala told journalists following talks with the head of state at Prague Castle. The positions Minister for Legislation and Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalisation will remain vacant for the remainder of the government’s term in office.
