Petrol prices reach record highs
Fuel prices in the Czech Republic continue to rise, with the average price of petrol exceeding CZK 34 per litre for the first time since December 2014, according to figures by the CCS monitoring firm released on Thursday.
A litre of the best-selling Natural 95 petrol is currently selling for an average of CZK 34.04, nine halers more than a week ago and over six crowns more than last September. Diesel is now selling for more than CZK 32 per litre, reaching the highest price since last January.
